Can I respectfully point out that the vast majority of posters were badly wrong on their predictions.
AKA ERNIE is spot on so far and only Twoleftfeet and Joyo stand any chance of being right.
I really would steer clear of bookies is all I can say to the rest of you....

Anyone who predicted the two wins and foresaw less than 30% possession, Areola saving a penalty against Chelsea and being down to 10, then Areola being man of the match against Brighton, is a liar.
But for our keeper, we’d have one point against relegation fodder. Which is what most people expected.

Good results but the football is dire. He can get away with it when we're winning but if we play Luton and have that level of possession then theres gonna be some backtracking by the 'everything is great, I love Moyes' club.

Good man Northbank for your hands up for getting your predictions a bit wrong there. Brave to stick your neck out in the first place. Always entertaining to gauge others’ predictions. Not sure many of us would have gone for 6 points with Chelsea and Brighton.

I think we have all been surprised at the last 2 results if not the performances ... Moyesball lives on and for 3 games so far has worked... let's see as it's early days but we can enjoy being top for a day at least...

I was worried when it turned out we'd be the first visitors to Kenilworth Road - the crowd will be well up for it being their first top flight game in decades (much like it was at the City Ground last season).
With how we've defended and countered in the last couple of games though I'm wondering if the crowd urging Luton to attack will leave them open to us hitting them on the break.

Somehow I missed out the Brighton game!
Fuck me, how wrong was I.
The team spirit is amazing and the signings so far, and to come (?) are great. Making Areola No. 1 was a class move.
Loving it and happy to confess I was wrong.

Fantastic to get such a good start.
Especially when you take into account we lost our best player and captain, have chased donkeys who don’t want to be here ever since, have a 33 striker and a winger as back up, get completely outplayed but beat Chelsea with ten men. Awesome points return, to be honest

I’d have gladly taken four points from those first two games. It’s a good start.
Next game will be tough but you’d hope we can beat Luton.
